Considered one of the main tourist sites in the province, however, projected to become one of the destinations because of its unique character and location facing the Pacific Ocean. After the main road connecting Siruma to the other towns of Camarines Sur was completed, tourism started to flourish. The visitor influx gradually increases season by season and month by month.
Botawanan is the biggest island in Siruma Camarines Sur, Philippines, northeastern coast of the mainland. An island barangay with more than 2000 population whose primary source of livelihood depends on fishing and agriculture.
Currently, no developed resort is operating in the area, and no accommodation facilities are available for the tourist to stay overnight or for days. However, if your group plans to spend a whole day swimming, there are cottages available to rent at the beach. Solar power energy illuminates the island at night and supplies the power energy needs of the residents and visitors.
