The historic Rughabah Tower (Marqab), the landmark of the village
Ancient Travel Path Tower - Although this village is small and sparsely populated, it is located in the desert north of Riyadh province and is part of Al Thadiq. Despite its size, visiting this place is always worthwhile, as it is rich in historical and traditional tales and features landmarks such as ancient travel path trails and the ruins of old houses in the town's historic settlement.
Located approximately 125 km north of the center of Riyadh City, the journey takes about two hours by car. The drive is delightful, allowing visitors to see the expansive, multi-colored landscape and formations of the flat desert terrain, including golden dunes, gullies, and riverbeds.
Visiting this town in winter is ideal to escape the intense heat and high temperatures of summer.
