Pacific Coasts and Paradises -Lahuy Island is the largest of the islands in Caramoan, a peninsular town in Camarines Sur, Philippines. Stretching nearly 10 kilometers, it lies on the Pacific coast, facing the open sea at the eastern end. The island comprises four barangays: Daraga, Gata, Gogon, and Oring.

Manlawi Sandbar
The most fascinating aspect of the Manlawi sandbar is its nature as a tidal island, emerging during low tides and disappearing beneath the water during high tides. This distinctive feature sets the sandbar apart from all other islands and shoals in this peninsular town of Camarines Sur, attracting visitors' interest. Floating cottages can be rented here.
Diving into and emerging from the water right at the cottage, relishing the gentle sway of the waves, and feeling the ocean breeze in the open sea, Manlawi Sandbar is the ideal spot for this on Lahuy Island. You can rent floating cottages here. Manlawi Sandbar is located in Barangay.

Isla Soledad
Isla Soledad is an island resort offering two distinct ocean wave experiences: tranquil on one side and splashy to rough on the other. Guests can choose their preferred sea conditions: the eastern side features thrilling waves that are exciting in calm weather and become rougher during windy periods or when bad weather approaches. Meanwhile, the western side offers serene, clear waters, allowing a view of the ocean bed through its crystal-clear surface.

What To Expect On the Way To Lahuy
The sea trip may go well during high tide, but expect a slower run because of the strong current and waves the boat must deal with.
During low tide, the trip may go faster, but the skippers would take extra precautions to ensure that the boat would not skid to the ocean floors because there are plenty of shallow areas on the way to Lahuy.
Traveling at a low tide would allow you to see the ocean floors with corals and seaweeds and the sudden drop in the water depth of the underwater escarpment.
Great island. Looks exciting to explore
