Hikers recording the memory by posing for a picture with the sun in the background.
Hiking Adventure - Tower Ridge offers a simple yet enjoyable hiking experience which does not require mountain-climbing skills or extra physical strength. It’s nearby, accessible, and close to other hiking spots inside the Valley.
At a distance of only 44 km from Riyadh city centre, the area is a 40-minute drive away. Once you reach the base, there is a parking place and the take-off point. You may leave your car and carry your backpacks with water, drinks, and something to eat to keep you from getting hungry or thirsty while enjoying the hike and sightseeing.
The Tower Ridge has three points for sightseeing: Eastern, Western, and Northern sides. Each point offers a different spectacular view of the desert and mountain landscape.
It has a hiking trail for those who are afraid of scaling the slope off the trail. The parking area and the place itself do not have a sign, name, or marker because this is a natural, open hiking spot. Just follow the Google directions, and once you get to the area, find the hiking trail, which looks like a rough road going up the plateau to the main viewing points.
