One of the eye-popping highlights on the way to the hiking and adventure area of Wadi Lajab, Jazan Province, Saudi Arabia, is driving through a canyon beneath hundreds of feet of rock walls in a 1.5 km-long ditch.

The Canyon of Wadi Lajab is the gateway for adventurers and hiking enthusiasts to reach Lajab’s tropical outback, where they can hike to the upper and lower streams.

An adrenaline rush creeps over you as the car slowly meanders through each curve and corner, while you stare at the edges, peaks, and ridges of the cliffs that embrace passers-by; you realise you are within the two palms of nature.
